We’re thrilled to share that Yellow Canary has recently been certified as a Great Place to Work (GPTW). This certification is a testament to our commitment to cultivating an extraordinary workplace experience. Becoming a certified Great Place to Work involves a comprehensive evaluation process that assesses an organisation's workplace culture, employee experiences, and overall satisfaction based purely on anonymous feedback from employees.

Certification as a Great Place to Work is a significant achievement for YC, and a rewarding recognition of the culture we’re building as we scale our business. We’ve grown from 10 to 60 employees over the last two years, and it’s incredibly warming for us to see that through all of this growth and change, over 93% of our employees attested to YC being a great place to work.

Our highest scoring areas were around inclusivity, and justice, which we believe to be a reflection of the embodiment of our values in how we work with and treat one another, and how our business does business.

We’ve still got work to do to continue to nurture and develop our existing staff.  The GPTW survey helped us to identify those areas we need to invest in to support our growing team and we’re making that a core focus for the next six months.

We wouldn’t be where we are today without the incredible team supporting YC on this journey.  The willingness of all Canaries to go above and beyond, support others, and embrace our core values has undoubtedly contributed to this remarkable achievement. Each and every Canary plays an integral role in making YC the great place to work it is today.
