After this, we invite you to have a longer discussion with our team to understand your previous work experience in more depth, as well as your work aspirations. As we see interviewing as a two way stream it is very important for us to leave plenty of time for you to ask the interviewers questions.
We give you a challenge that is designed to give you insight into the kinds of work you’ll be doing at Yellow Canary and a chance to practically show off your skills. We see it as an important equaliser in the recruitment process to allow everyone different opportunities to shine.
For Engineers this is usually a take-home or pair-programming exercise, followed by a deep dive with one of our Senior Engineers.
The next interviews are a chance to chat with people across each team at Yellow Canary. We want to understand how you align with Yellow Canary’s values, and what you’ll add to our culture and ways of working. It’s an opportunity to see who you’ll be working closely with everyday.
